“Excellent Experience. We had a slab leak and were referred to ALD by our insurance company on a Sunday. ALD arrived for the appointment first thing on the next business day and the representatives were terrific. Steve Lee and his associate worked on our house for the better part of two days and made sure our water was running before they left the second night. They properly diagnosed the leak location, rerouted the pipe, and every thing works fine. I appreciated their technical ability, state of the art equipment, and the fact that they took the time to keep me informed along the way and explain to me what was happening and why. If I have other plumbing problems I will definitely call for Steve and his peers at American Leak Detection.”

After 30 years in this house, we have had many service people come to do work. No one has ever delivered better than Daniel.

“Tree roots had cracked my filter pipes and I was losing water badly. I was referred to American Leak Detection and set up an appointment. Daniel came out and did his best to diagnose the problem. He got very strange results and it was hard to determine the exact pipe(s) that were cracked but since I'd had a similar repair done 6 years ago and we could see evidence of the tree root damage from above, I felt confident we knew were the issue was and I contracted for the work. I was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel return to perform the work. I arranged to be home that day so I could see what he found. I supposed I hovered, taking pictures of the process, asking questions as he went along. He never got annoyed and answered every question with a smile. I don't think i ever saw anyone work harder. It was obvious from that start he had a lot of experience and knew what he was doing. Digging out the area had to be done mostly by hand which he did efficiently without complaints. He found multiple pipes cracked which explained the odd results during diagnosis. The job took longer than expected because it was difficult work and he ran out of daylight but on the job until he it wasn't possible anymore that day. Even though he was fully booked for the following day, his company rearranged his schedule so he could return the following afternoon. I returned home early from work and was able to see him complete the job. He even patched the deck with new concrete like an artisan, taking every care to make it as smooth and neat as possible. After 30 years in this house, we have had many service people come to do work. No one has ever delivered better than Daniel. He was competent, diligent, and pleasant. The cost wasn't cheap but it was fair. I don't mind at all paying for quality service.”

So rare these days to find this kind of service. We feel so fortunate to have had them recommended to us by another plumber who felt like the job was too much for him.

“We were in a desperate situation. Our main water line into our house broke underneath the concrete slab of the house and flooded the bottom floor. We had to shut off all the water into the house. These guys found the broken pipe under the floor within inches of the break. Things got much more complicated from there, but to make a very long story short, they ended up putting a whole new water line into the house. Every step of the way they were working with us to figure out the cheapest way to fix the problem. What nice guys! I would recommend them to anyone I know. So rare these days to find this kind of service. We feel so fortunate to have had them recommended to us by another plumber who felt like the job was too much for him. I hope that it is a long time before I need this kind of serious work done again, but if I do, I will call these guys again.”

“After a plumbing company could not fix my leaking problem and I learned that they do not use instruments except a camera for the sewer system, I decided to call American Leak detection. Emilio was the technician that came to my house. He is excellent, and I was very impressed by his knowledge. He used his 'Thermo' and 'Moisture Content' meters and found that the water leaks were coming from the toilet in a very short time. After that, he checked my piping system's pressure to ensure that the toilet was the only leak. Upon my request, Emilio removed the toilet and found that the flange was broken. He cleaned up the area, covered the hole and put plastic on top and gave me an estimate for replacing the new flange and installing the new toilet. He was polite, knowledgeable, hard working, and intelligent. I thank him for finding the source of the leak that other plumbing companies could not. I feel all plumbers need to invest in instruments. How can a plumber start fixing things without knowing where the source of the leak is? It shows they are just interested in making money and not interested in taking care of customers. Next time I have water leak problems, I will definitely call American Leak Detection and hope I get Emilio to help me.”

“We had a high water bill and I called insurance company to ask about leaks under the slab. They contacted ALD to come out and confirm. Jimmy showed up with special equipment, located the leak under the slab on the bathroom floor. He gave us a quote and we set up an appointment for him to complete the job. He showed up at the stated time and went to work. After completion of the bathroom leak, he tested the line and found an additional 2 leaks (in the same line) in the kitchen. Andrew and Lenny then showed up and all 3 of them continued until the work was completed. They tested and retested before they left. It was dark when they all left, but the work was complete. They didn't seem to mind me asking questions along the way. Their service was the best! They were professional and kept us up to date as the day went along. I would highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for any plumbing issue.”
